Julian Howard Mitchell, 85, of Danville, passed away September 10, 2020 at his home. He was born on August 12, 1935 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late John and Bertha Howard Mitchell. His loving wife, Peggy Bandy Mitchell of 60 years, survives him.
Julian graduated from University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and was a pharmacist for many years. He was a faithful member of First Christian Church, where he was a longtime member of the choir. Julian was a member of the Barbershop Quartet and was an avid golfer.
A brother, Thomas Mitchell, precedes him in death.
Funeral services will be 1PM Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at First Christian Church with Rev. Joey Pusateri officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00pm-1:00PM on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Gerry Greaney, Eben Henson, Bill Owens, Butch Pass, Vince Pennington, Larry Scott and Brandon Bottom.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Barker, Bill Castle, Georgianne Smith and Ky Trust Members.
