Katie Marie Stocker, 35, of Conway, South Carolina, formerly of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at Grand Stand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was born on March 16, 1985 to her parents Tom and Lori Stocker of Danville, Kentucky and Sandy and Larry Scott of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Katie worked as a CNA at the Grand Stand Medical Center and was a graduate of Northern Kentucky University. She was the world’s worst Monopoly player, but won her first game last year. Katie loved the beach, duck hunting and Disney.
Also surviving is her fiancé, Don Darrow of Conway, South Carolina; a sister, Kelly Stratton (Artie) of Lawrenceburg; step sister, Melinda McCowan (Anthony) of Danville; grandparents, Larry and Carol Robbins of Danville and Charles and JoAnn Harris of Salem, Ohio; very special nieces, Laci and Kali Stratton and nephews, Blake and Kade McCowan and her furry bulldog, Bella.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, William “Bud” and Alice Stocker and Marie Robbins.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
