Obituary

Larry Johnson, 72, of Danville, passed away March 8, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.  He was born April 18, 1950 to Bernice Miller Johnson and the late Bill Johnson. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Lois "Millie" Johnson.

Larry retired from Phillips Lighting and was of the Baptist faith. He loved Kentucky basketball and Danville High School Football.

Surviving is a brother, Danny Ray Johnson of Danville; aunt, Lillian Brackett of Lancaster; uncle, Talbert Turner of Danville; cousins, Rick Turner (Jennea), Fama Jones, and Ruth Ann Bryan; nephews, William Daniel Johnson (Terry), Chris Johnson (Susan), and Troy Baker (Shannon); nieces, Lashonda Sears (Rebel), Tammy Turner Sweazy, Jennifer Adams (Milton) and Lanice Goodin (James); several great nieces and nephews; a sister in law Kathy Fletcher Luttrell.

Along with his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Kaye Johnson; aunts, Alberta Jones and Julia Emma Preston; and a brother, Michael Johnson and a niece Dana Johnson.

Graveside Services 2pm Monday, March 13, 2023 at Parksville Cemetery with Dr. Tim Mathis officiating.
