Leonard Childress

Leonard Earl Childress, 73, of Harrodsburg, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at VA Healthcare in Lexington. He was born in Washington State to the late Leonard and Rose Piper Childress. 

He was a veteran of the US Army and worked in security for the corrections department. 

Surviving is one son, Sam Childress (Trina) of Danville, two sisters, Sarah and Janet of Washington State and four grandchildren, Hunter, Haylee, Hannah and Joey Baker. 

Graveside services will be at 2:30pm Monday, November 9, 2020 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating.
