Lois Craig

Lois Craig, 83, of Danville, passed away February 22, 2025 in Stanford, Kentucky after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born in Casey County on July 12, 1941 to Emett and Ida Marlowe Tucker. 

She graduated from Danville High School and worked for Certified Brake for many years before retiring from Sylvania in Versailles. She enjoyed quilting and her flowers during her retirement years. 

Surviving is a daughter, Yvonne Hatfield of Stanford; one son, Shaun Craig of Danville; and four grandchildren: Ryan Craig, Nicholas Craig, Lauren Hatfield Isaacs and Josh Hatfield. 

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mark Craig; brothers, L.C. Tucker and John Tucker; and sisters, Maxine Wilson, Barbara Tucker and Eva Brackett. 

A visitation will be held from 1pm-3pm on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Old Liberty Cemetery in Bradfordsville with Rev. Vola Brown officiating.

Memorial contributions are preferred to Alzheimer’s Association.
