Lucille Frances Snodgrass, 90, of Danville, passed away at her home on February 25, 2026. She was born in Lancaster, Kentucky on May 22, 1935 to the late Arch and Everee Faulkner. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Snodgrass.
Lucille was a faithful member of First Baptist Church-Walnut Street for many years. She loved serving the Lord. Lucille was a loving wife, perfect mother and a wonderful “Granny”. She was quick-witted and loved her family immensely.
Lucille is survived by a daughter, Rita Doty of Lexington; two grandsons, William Doty III and Justin Doty of Lexington; six great-grandchildren, Jalin Doty, Jeremiah Doty, Memphis Doty, Isaiah Doty, Will Doty and Amiyah Boyd Doty and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Minnie B. Meadows, Mary McGill, Louetta Summers, Samuel Faulkner, Archie Faulkner, Edward Faulkner, Lawrence Faulkner, and Allen Faulkner.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Burial to follow at Camp Nelson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Thursday at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Justin Doty, Douglas Doty, James Meadows, Brian Gooch, Troy Warner, and Michael Faulkner.
