Marjorie Bodner Obituary

Marjorie Lee Bodner, 98, of Junction City, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at The Willows in Harrodsburg. She was born in Boyle County on September 11, 1924 to the late Frank and Ahna Belle Cox Hogue. 


Marjorie loved birds and flowers. She was a faithful member of Mt. Freeman Baptist Church. 


Surviving is a sister, Lillian McCarty of Danville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


Marjorie was preceded in death by four sons, Edwin King, Roger King, Michael Bodner and Ronnie Bodner; and a sister, Elva Stratton.


Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday March 10, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Brock officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the funeral home.
