Martha Selby

Martha Selby, 97, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Landmark of Danville. She was born on June 19, 1926 in Nelson County to the late Chester and Leta Elder. Martha was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Selby. 

Martha is survived by a daughter, Barbara Mosley (Vola) of Boyle County; two grandchildren Katina Wesley and Eddie Mosley; four great-grandchildren, Drake Hardin, Matthew Hardin, Tucker Mosley and Easton Mosley; and a great great-grandchild, Theodore Hardin. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Martha is preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Young and Elgetha Logue. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Charlie Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time. 

Pallbearers will be Eddie Mosley, Drake Hardin, Matthew Hardin, Harrison Hardin, Tucker Mosley and Jeff Selby.
