Mary Anna Roberts

Mary Roberts, 86, of Danville, passed away March 5, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 24, 1934 in Mitchellsburg, Kentucky to the late Owen and Bertha Leffew. Mary is preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Wayne King and husband, Edward Roberts.

She owned Mary’s Cleaning Service for over 20 years, where she cleaned the courthouse and many other businesses. Mary was a member of Nondenominational Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, wife and an amazing grandmother and great grandmother.  

Surviving is a son, Danny King of Danville, Teresa Stratton of Danville, one brother, Carl Leffew (Frances) of Mitchellsburg, two grandchildren, Dennis Stratton II (Amanda) of Danville and Natasha Southerland (Franklin) of Danville, and eight great grandchildren, Dakota and Jacob Stringfield, Landyn and Zayden Southerland, Alexander, Alexandria, Skylar and Sheyanne Stratton, Michael Sheperson.

A public visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home from 5-7pm. A private family funeral will be held on Wednesday and burial in Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville.

Pallbearers will be Dakota and Jacob Stringfield, Dennis Stratton II, Franklin Southerland, Alex Stratton, Landyn Southerland and Michael Sheperson.
