Obituary
Mary Beth Wilson, 68, of Crab Orchard, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, KY. She is survived by her loving husband, Jackie. She was born in Cynthiana on October 24, 1954 to the late Samuel Smock and Jean Wiggins.
Mary Beth was a member of Drakes Creek Baptist Church and was a Registered Nurse. When she wasn’t busy crocheting a blanket for a new baby in the family, she spent her free time on the lake catching award-worthy crappie.
Along with her husband, she is survived by a son, James Wilson of Crab Orchard; daughter, Tamra Wilson (Dale Eye) of Danville; grandchildren; Mary Jo Mullen (Jeremy) of Louisville, Stephanie Crouch of Danville, Alex Wren of Richmond, Brecken Wren of Crab Orchard and Sam Wilson of Crab Orchard; great grandchildren; Ryland Mullen and Noah James Crouch; two very special friends, Mary Ethel Sebastian and Anita Wilson.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Ted McKenney Jr. and Brother Clellan Hays officiating. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Mary Jo Mullen, Stephanie Crouch, Alex Wren, Brecken Wren, Sam Wilson and Dale Eye.
Honorary Pallbearers will be James Wilson, Ryland Mullen and Noah James Crouch.
