Michael Wayne Wilson

Michael Wayne Wilson, 71, of Danville passed away at his home on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Catherine Wilson of Danville. Michael was born on September 23, 1951 in Peoria Illinois to the late Samuel Burton Wilson and Roxie Crowe Wilson. 

Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was a wonderful role model.  He enjoyed fishing, golf, and a love for drag racing.

Surviving is a son, Chris Wilson (Erica) of Danville; step children, Thomas English of Berea, Renea English of Brodhead, Melissa English of Hustonville, and Kimberly Case (B.J.) also of Hustonville; Siblings, Gary Wilson (Rebecca Ann) of Moreland, Steve Wilson (Wilma) of Campbellsville, Lisa McGrath (Mike) of Danville, and Ricky Wilson (Patricia) of Hustonville; one grandchild, Teagan Wilson; seven step grandchildren, Haley Wilburn, Kayla Lewis, Austin Walls, Ethan Burchett, Keegan English, Kadin Dady, and Gunner Case; great grandchildren, Raelynn Wilburn, Addison Lewis, and Kassen Snow; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday March 8, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Lee and Bro. Robert Adams officaiting. 

Visitation will be 5-8 PM Tuesday March 7, 2023 at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. 

Active pallbearers are Chris Wilson, B.J. Case, Ricky Wilson, Mike McGrath, Phillip Crowe, Austin Wilson, Kadin Dady, and Gunner Case.

Honorary pallbearers are Steve Wilson, Gary Wilson, Teagan Wilson, and Donnie Coyle. 

Memorials preferred to Heritage Hospice of Danville.
