Nancy Carey Obituary

Nancy Carey, 103, of Boyle County, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Landmark of Danville. She was born March 8, 1917 in Lincoln County to the late Edward and Emma Burns Oaks. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Carey.

She was a Sales Representative and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Richard Carey (Linda) of Northern Kentucky, Robert Carey (Joyce) of Georgia and Jack Carey (Sherry) of Danville; grandchildren, Lesa Carey, Donna Carey, Jack Carey, Jr., Paul Carey, Josh Carey and Jared Carey.

She is preceded in death by a grandchild, Jeannie Carey Jamieson; brothers, Charlie and John Oaks and sisters, Kathleen Abby, Dorothy Thompson and Geneva Price.

Private family services will be held at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery.
