Oscar Johnson

Oscar Johnson, Jr. 73, of Nicholasville, passed away June 3, 2021 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born in Boyle County to the late Oscar, Sr. and Margaret Mills Johnson. 

Oscar was a truck driver for over 40 years. He loved cars and adored his family. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church. 

Oscar is survived by his daughters, April Walton (Thomas) of Nicholasville and Julie Johnson of Kentucky; sisters, Margaret Montgomery (Carl) of Stanford and Julia Bilger (Ronnie) of Louisville; grandchildren, Kaytlyn Johnson, Lakin Johnson, Aiden Walton and Elliot Walton; two great grandchildren, Carter Kilgore and Caden Kilgore and several nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ricky Johnson. 

Funeral services 4pm Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2-4 on Sunday. 

Pallbearers will be Thomas Walton, Gerald Walton, Shane Johnson, Gary Bilger, Ronnie Bilger and Aiden Walton. 

Honorary pallbearer will be Carl Montgomery.
