Pamela Anne VanHook, 62, of Danville, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born February 23, 1959 in Danville, KY to the late Harold Gipson Long and Shirley Ruth Cloyd, Pamela devoted her life to being a loving housewife and mother.
Survivors include her husband, Byron Eugene VanHook; two sons, Charles VanHook and Chad (Mandy) VanHook of Danville; a grandson, Joshua Baughman; a brother Michael (Pamela) Long; six nephews, Chris VanHook, John VanHook, Zach Harmon, Brett Berry, Collin Deatherage, and Ryan Deatherage; and three nieces, Carrie Glasscock, Tracie Carman, and Amber Long. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Long; a sister, Angela Berry; two nieces, Summer Long and Tiffany Long; and one nephew, Shawn Bastin.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 5-7pm at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11am on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Dwayne Lobb officiating. Pallbearers are: Billy Long, Gip Noland, Jerry Noland, Chris VanHook, John VanHook, and Chase Middleton. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
