Pameula Rae Coffman Ledford, 77, of Danville, passed away August 22, 2025 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Jerry Ledford.
Surviving are her children, Jerry Keith Ledford (Sarah) of Danville and Anne Elizabeth Ledford of Louisville; sisters, Vivian Hogue (Mark) of Moreland and Vicky Worthington of Casey County; grandchildren, Laurel Warren (Jonathan) of Tennessee, Matthew Harris of Florida, Jackson Ledford (Allison) of Alabama, Katherine Ledford of Mississippi and Jonathan Ledford of Danville; and great-grandchildren, Judah Warren, Odette Warren and Arthur Ledford.
Pameula is preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Ledford Harris, parents, a brother, David Coffman and a sister, Mary Eva Denson.
Pam was a life-long educator, teaching mathematics from preschool to AP Calculus in high school.
Pam attended Berea College and was a member of country dancers where she met her husband.
Pam was a woman of strong faith. She attended the Church of Christ for her adult life. She was very active in church, helping out with church functions at every turn. She was the moral compass for her family, a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Pam enjoyed reading, playing Mahjong and Rook, Cross Stitching, and devoting time with her family.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Kernodle and Pastor Mike Crowe officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the funeral home. A family burial will be held at Majors Cemetery in Bakersville, North Carolina.
