Patricia Bodner

Patricia Irene Purvis Bodner, 72, of Danville, passed away March 22, 2020 at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation. She was born April 25, 1947 in Bath County to the late Orville amd Sudie Purvis. Patricia is survived by her husband of 31 years, Danny Bodner.

She worked for the vending company, Service America for many years, as well as Mary Hogsett School and Charleston Healthcare. Patricia was a faithful member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Daniel Bodner of Lexington, Jack Bodner (Kelly) of Atlanta, GA and Richard Mitchell of Bath County; a daughter, Angel Wortham (Scott) of Senoia, GA; a brother, Larry Purvis of Bath County; a sister, Kay Wilson of Bath County and grandchildren: Jameson Bodner, Scott Wortham, David Mitchell and Lacy McCarty.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Annette Mitchell and two brothers, Donnie Richie and Greg Purvis.

A private immediate family funeral will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.  A private burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
