Patrick Hodge Obituary

Patrick Shane Hodge, went to his heavenly home on July 25, 2022. From his first breath, he was pure joy. Shane was born on December 6, 1971 to the late Terry Hodge and Sherry Hodge of Danville. He was married to the love of his life, Christy Hodge.

Shane was a godly man, always sharing his love of God with others. He was a loving husband, father and son; he adored his wife and children. He loved sports, especially football, with the Seattle Seahawks and UK being his favorites. Shane was a wonderful role model to deaf children, working at KSD for 20 years. He was known for his sense of humor and always left people with one thumb up/one thumb down, his trademark.

Surviving is his wife, Christy, his mother, Sherry, three sons, Joseph Bo Hodge (wife, Emily), Zachery Shane Hodge (fiancé, Grace), Gabriel Allen Hodge, two daughters, Chasta Michelle Hodge, and Jaylen Nicole Hodge, all of Danville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Woodrolene and Chester Callahan, brother-in-law, Gary Yarnell, and sister in law, Amy Callahan. Shane also leaves behind many friends and family who dearly loved him.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm Friday, August 5, 2022 at Southland Christian Church-Danville with Rev. Kevin Hamilton and Pastor Jeff Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until funeral time on Friday.
