Alice “Pauline” Hale, 86, of Danville, passed away January 2, 2023 at Danville Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 15, 1936 in Liberty, Kentucky to the late Forest and Mary Brown. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband, Montie Eugene Hale.
Pauline was a middle child of 9 siblings, a great precedent on what she loved most in life - her family. Pauline was a loving mother and grandmother, and although she had many creative talents such as sewing, crocheting, gardening, and cooking; she used them all to show her love and affection towards her family. Pauline often would hand stitch beautiful quilts for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pauline married Montie Hale December 7th, 1957 and gave birth to four children during her life. She was an honest and hard working wife, mother, and individual. When she was not working along side her husband on a dairy farm, she would work many of her years in a sewing factory.
Surviving are children, Rhonda Cope of Danville, Timothy Hale of Mississippi, Randall Hale of Perryville, and Christopher Hale of Forkland; sisters, Evelyn Stokes of Danville, Virginia Hale of Danville, and Lois Young of Perryville; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Jerry, Hubert, Lewis and Dewey Brown and a sister, Zelpha Singleton.
Funeral services will be 11am Friday, January 6, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial In Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hale, Chris Hale, Roger Brown, Jeff Brown, Ronnie Brown and Mark Brown.
