Peggy Anderson Cummins, 85, of Junction City, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at her home. She was born in Danville on September 26, 1939 to the late Earl and Glenn Anderson. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Buddy” Cummins, Sr. and her loving son, Harold “Eddie” Cummins, Jr.
Peggy worked for Modine Factory for many years and a member of Junction City Methodist Church. She loved to garden and to be outside. Peggy was an amazing quilter and loved to sew. She took care of everyone perfectly, and her warm home was a revolving door for her friends and family.
Surviving are two granddaughters, Jessica Scattergood (Michael) and Haley Carlock (Cameron), both of Bowling Green; a daughter-in-law, Anita Cummins of Junction City; great-grandchildren, Blair and Blake Scattergood and Nora Carlock, all of Bowling Green; two sisters, Patsy Campbell of Lincoln County and Hope Bartley of Danville and a brother, Buddy Anderson (Margaret) of Danville.
Also preceding her in death is a sister, Billie Harris.
Funeral services will be 12pm Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, November 11, 2024 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Michael Scattergood, Cameron Carlock, Tommy Campbell, David Anderson, Scott Anderson, and Joey Harris.
Honorary pallbearers are Rachel Noe, Ricky Cummins, and Bobby Grubbs.
