God in his infinite wisdom needed a beautiful rose for His heavenly garden. On November 27, 2025, God called upon his beloved daughter, Precious Rain McDaniel to come home and blossom in His heavenly garden. Precious was born on November 10, 2003, as a twin, to Nicole and Larry McDaniel at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. A 2022 graduate of Danville High School, Precious had a love for many things. She enjoyed and had a love for nature, watching anime, playing video games, listening to all types of music, especially rock music in which her favorite music group was the Deftones, and playing video games. She was also a former employee of Adkev, Inc. and McDonald’s in Danville, KY. Precious also loved collecting things such as dolls, cups, anime statues, and stuffed animals. Precious also loved fashion and loved earth toned styles and colors. She is preceded in death by her aunt Valencia Marie Bottoms and great-grandparents Charles and Nettie B. McCormack.
Precious leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Nicole McDaniel of Danville, KY, her father, Larry McDaniel of Lexington, KY, and a loving stepfather Charles White of Lexington, KY; grandparents, Robert and Ann Gooch of Danville, KY; three sisters, Princess Gooch of Richmond, KY, her twin sister Passion McDaniel of Danville, KY, and Promise McDaniel of Kendallville, IN; and a brother Prince Gooch of Danville, KY. She also leaves behind 2 nieces, Aria and Legacy Gooch; and three nephews, Amiyus and Legend Gooch, and Aire McDaniel, whom she loved dearly, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones whom she also loved and cherished. Precious will always be remembered for her contagious beautiful smile and courageous spirit.
