Ray Underhill

Ray Le Underhill, 59, of Danville, passed away November 5, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born February 21, 1962 to Irma Guy Underhill of Danville and the late George L. Underhill. 

Ray was a proud veteran of the US Army and worked in transportation most of his life. He was an avid sportsman, who loved to hunt and fish.  

Surviving are four brothers, George D. Underhill (Melody) of Michigan, Bruce Underhill (Peggy) of Sonora, Ky, Donald Underhill of Radcliff, Ky and Dean Underhill of Danville, sisters, Beverly Knight Of Florida, Barbara Underhill of Danville, and Becky Shields (Bobby) of Danville and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who loved him very much.  

Funeral services will be 1pm, Monday, November 15, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Underhill officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Monday. 

Pallbearers will be William Underhill, Andrew Knight, Justin Shields, Andy Schaedel, John Mark Robbins, and Donald Underhill.
