Rebecca Edwards

Rebecca Edwards, 55, of Lawrenceburg, formerly of Danville, passed away September 11, 2021 at Bluegrass Community Hospital. She was born in Boyle County to the late Frank and Louise Pike. Rebecca is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Michael Edwards. 

She loved playing cards, her soap operas, Diet Coke and most of all her family, who was her world. Rebecca was a faithful member of Southern Heights Baptist Church. 

Also surviving are her children, Brittany Giles (Daniel) of Danville and Melissa Hodge (Kenneth) of Danville, grandchildren, Kia Giles,  Carson Pike, Brayden Hodge, and Hayle Hodge, brother, Robert Pike of Danville and Shelia Pike of Hustonville. 

Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Southern Heights Baptist Church with Darrin Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers will be Daniel Swinney, Daniel Giles, Kenneth Hodge, Joe Conley, Zachary Johnson, and Christopher Johnson. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Kia Giles, Carson Pike, Brayden Hodge, Hayle Hodge, Kevin Conley, Grayson Conley, and David Sturgeon.
