Robin Benson

Robin L. Benson, 54, of Danville, passed away January 6, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 27, 1966 in Owensboro, Kentucky to her parents, late George R. Benson and Karen Caswell of Danville. 

Robin was a spirited giving soul who taught us a lot about how to live with what life gives with dignity and grace. She blessed everyone she touched and gave people courage to fight their own battles as a Kentucky Poster Child.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Karen and Stanley Caswell of Danville, a brother, Scott Ashley Benson (Ashley) of Murray, a niece, Lauren Benson Rojas (Hector) of Murray, two nephews, William Benson and Sam Elliott, both of Murray and an aunt, Rita Benson Whitehouse of Louisville.

A public visitation will be from 1pm-2pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Quentin Scholtz officiating. A private family service will be held. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. 

Memorial contributions are preferred to Shriner's Hospital for Children or the ALS Organization.

The funeral service will be live streamed on Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home Facebook Page at 2:30pm on January 9, 2021.
