Sadie Preston

Sadie Frances Preston, 84, of Junction City, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019 at Landmark of Lancaster. She was born in Gravel Switch, Kentucky on January 13, 1935 to the late George and Viola Snawder Tate. Sadie was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Preston.

Sadie was a homemaker and a member of the Shelby City Baptist Church in Junction City. She loved cooking for her family and was a collector of recipes.

Surviving is a son, Johnny Preston (Crystal) of Lancaster and a daughter, Kathy Preston of Lancaster, preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Preston; grandchildren, Patricia Preston, Jake Hisle and Dakota Hisle and great-grandchild, Theodore Chiccino. 

Funeral services 10AM Monday, December 23, 2019 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7PM on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the funeral home.
