Sadie Benedict Query, 94, of Danville, passed away March 12, 2020 in Taylorsville, Kentucky. She was born October 27, 1925 in the home of her parents on White Oak Road in Junction City, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Annie and Willie Benedict. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert Query.

Sadie was an LPN and worked in the Pharmacy at Ephraim McDowell Hospital for 14 years. She retired from Olan Mills Studios after many years. Sadie was a faithful member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and a 1944 graduate of Junction City High School. She was a member of the Democratic Women's Club of Kentucky. She loved to line dance, teaching senior citizens at the Danville-Boyle County Senior Citizen'a Center for 17 years.

Surviving is a granddaughter, Kimberly "Kim" Karem (Conan) of Louisville and grandchildren, Gabriel, Mayzie, Shaye and Adam Karem. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bert and son, Barry W. Muniz.

Funeral services 11AM Monday, March 16, 2020 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 5-7PM at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.
