Sandra E. Rion

Sandra Earlyne Rion, 52, of Danville, passed away October 22, 2021 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care. She was born on July 30, 1969 in Hammond, Indiana to Earl and Rosie Webb Reeves. Sandi is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Joe Rion.

Sandi was a loving, energetic, beautiful person who loved life to the fullest. She loved vacationing at the beach, bargain shopping, Disney, and Starbucks to name a few. Being a wife, mother and a Mimi, was her life's greatest blessing.

Also surviving are four sons, Jeff Rion (Elizabeth) of Harrodsburg, Jeremy Rion of Shelbyville, Joseph Rion of Shelbyville, and James Rion (Mandy) of Jeffersontown; sister in law, Connie Chiles; ten grandchildren, Avery, Riley, Emery, Nick, Bailey, Parker, Paislee, Destiny, Conner, and Rosalie and a sister in law, Rita Jo Reeves. She was a loving aunt to nephews, Brandon, Bryan, Christopher, Greg, and Jeffrey, great nephews, Hunter, Bryan, Jr. and De’Aaron and to her niece, Madi.

She is preceded in death by three sisters, Dawn Reeves, Deena Reeves and Patricia Preziotti and a brother, Dan Reeves.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2pm Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Russ officiating. A visitation will be held from 12pm until the time of the service on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions in her memory are preferred to UK Markey Cancer Foundation.
