Sidney Gray Ratliff

Sidney Gray Ratliff, 70, of Danville, passed away Friday October 21, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. He was born in Elkhorn City, Kentucky on January 1, 1952 to Clinton and Dixie Ratliff.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia.
 
Sidney loved his family and friends who all appreciated his love for cooking, gardening and fishing.  His cheesecakes will be missed by many!

In addition to his wife, Sidney is survived by two children, Clinton Jaymes Ratliff (Tiffany) and Sydney Paige Ratliff both of Danville and mother of the children Vicki Vernon (Mike) of Junction City; seven grandchildren, Zachary Ratliff, Madison Teague, Sidney Zane Goode, Gavin Ratliff, Easton Ratliff, River Gray Watkins and Tatum Ratliff; two nieces Rhonda Ratliff and Fredia (Darron) Ratliff;  two nephews Blake Owens and Blake Ratliff; Lifelong friends David and Le Vernon, Ryan and Jerrica Funkhouser and family, ; and his beloved dog, Willie.
 
A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, with a funeral procession to the cemetery starting at 11:45am from Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. 
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the Boyle County Humane Society.
