Stacey Tussey

Stacey Evette Tussey was born on June 1, 1967. She peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2020. She was the only child of Carolyn (Severance) Tussey  and the late Henry “Tiny” Tussey. She was definitely a daddy’s girl....and will always be momma’s baby. 

In her youth, Stacey loved riding and showing horses, reading and hanging out with friends. She also loved baking and was an avid jeopardy fan and was a huge animal lover. She never met a stranger, could be a little sassy and loved her children fiercely. 

God blessed Stacey with an extraordinarily strong will and toughness which she would need as she excountered complications with her beautiful heart in her teenage years. Despite the issues with her heart, she never complained. Always extending love and compassion to others. With persistence, determination, and hard work she became an LPN and truly loved nursing and caring for others. 

Stacey was a very loving daughter, an amazing mother and a true friend. She was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Chaston Faith White and her father, Tiny Tussey. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her mother, Carolyn Tussey, three children: Kasey Severance Thornton (Lexington), Layton Cole Thornton (Lexington) and Pierce McKane White (Lexington), her soulmate and the love of her life, Bob Kinley (Lexington), along with many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.  

A private family service will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.
