Teresa Boyd

Teresa “Peaches” Kay Boyd, 58, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, passed away August 16, 2022 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. She was born on January 29, 1964 in Danville, Kentucky to Ralph Boyd and Myrtle Gibson. 

Teresa loved shopping, music and being with her family, especially her grandchildren who she adored. She attended Van Buren Church of Christ. 

Surviving are two daughters, Haley Esters (Josh) of Waynesburg and Ashley Taylor of Harrodsburg;  grandchildren: Gibson, Claire, Trell, and Deacon; sisters, Tina Stevens (Forrest) of Lawrenceburg, Colleen Devine of Danville, Lisa Boyd of Danville, and Michelle Gilpin (Jason) of Danville; brothers, Jay Herbert Boyd and Ralph Boyd Jr., both of Danville and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce Burchett and Natalie Boyd and her faithful canine companion, “Patches.”

Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Anness officiating. Burial will follow in Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2022 from 5-8pm at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Josh Esters, Shaun Boyd, Ralph Boyd Jr., Jay Herbert Boyd, Forrest Stevens and Jerry Lane. 

Memorial contributions are preferred to the American Heart Association.
