Terry Lee Hodge, 68, of Danville, Ky ‘passed away from an extended illness on February 4, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital He was born in Covington, Kentucky on September 23, 1953 to the late Ernest and Ruby Hodge. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sherry Hodge and his son Patrick Shane Hodge.
Terry graduated from Boone County High School in 1971 and worked for Planters/Nabisco for many years and later retired from Swedish Match Company. He was a faithful member of Southland Christian Church. He loved his church family
Terry was a wonderful provider, a giver and a friend to many. He adored his son and grandchildren and loved to watch his grandchildren play sports. He was fun loving, had a wonderful sense of humor, and just enjoyed life. To know him was to love him. Terry was truly a family man, successful In life and love.
Surviving is a son, Shane Hodge(Christy) of Danville; a brother, Wayne Hodge of Nicholasville; grandchildren, Joseph Bo Hodge (Emily), Zachery Shane Hodge, Gabriel Allen Hodge, Chasta Michelle Hodge, and Jaylen Nicole Hodge, all of Danville; he also had many special nieces, nephews family and friends he dearly loved.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Pat May, a brother, Randy Hodge and a special family member, Luis Zornoza.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday, February 11, 2022 at Southland Christian Church-Danville with Pastor Brian Lucas and Rev. Kevin Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be from 1pm until funeral time on Friday.
