Valerie Adams Holt

Valerie Adams Holt, 67, of Lincoln County, passed away March 7, 2023 at Baptist Health in Lexington. She was born on January 8, 1956 in Boyle County to the late William B. and Ann Shields Warmouth. 

Valerie loved spending time with her grandkids, and spoiled them every chance she got. She was also a great dancer and if you didnt know how, she was sure to teach you. She was the kind of mother that never let you hang up the phone or walk out the door without saying “I Love You!” Her suppers were legendary and if you left her house hungry, it was your own fault. One of the greatest battles she won in her life was against breast cancer, and she was a warrior. Valerie was one of a kind.  

Surviving are two daughters, Melissa Holt (Travis) of Perryville and Shannon Adams (John Phillips) of Stanford; sister, Linda Cameron (Myron) of Frankfort, brother, Billy Warmouth (Susan) of Frankfort; grandchildren, Tiffany Goode, Travis Cole Holt, Micah Phillips, Landon Phillips, and Adyn Phillips; and a great-granddaughter, Addison Goode. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Debbie Cameron. 

Funeral services will be 3pm Monday, March 13, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial in Grove Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the funeral home and 2pm-3pm Monday, March 13, 2023. 

Pallbearers will be Travis Cole Holt, Micah Phillips, Landon Phillips, Adyn Phillips, Michael Wilson, and Barry Rogers.
