Wilfred R. Phillips, 75, of Lincoln County passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at his home. He was born July, 3, 1945 in Casey County to the Late Wilfred T. and Gladys Clarkson Phillips.
Wilfred was a tobacco and hay farmer.
Wilfred is survived by one son, Brian Phillips of Moreland; four daughters, Ramona Phillips (Bill) of Hustonville, Mary Ellen Phillips (Mike) of Science Hill, Melissa Bandy of Danville and Jennifer Miller of Danville; three sisters, Mary Ellen Phillips Davis (Bud) of Moreland, Loretta Smith of Indiana, Winifred Smith (Elby) of Stanford; eight grandchildren, Travis Coleman, Dylan Coleman, Adriana Wesley, Dustin Phillips, Brandon Botner, Jonathan Armstrong, Markeisha Yocum and Dustin Bandy; and eleven great grandchildren.
Wilfred was preceded in death by two sons, Wilfred Phillips and Mitchell Miller; three brothers, Olen Gover, Bruce Gover and Larry Gover.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 24 from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Botner, Travis Coleman, Dylan Coleman, Dustin Phillips, Jonathan Armstrong and Mark Coleman.
