William A. Warner, Jr., 79, of Danville, passed away October 23, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born in Danville, Kentucky on September 23, 1945 to William, Sr. and Margaret Cooper Warner. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lee Warner.
William graduated from Bate High School and Ky Business College. He worked for Phillips Lighting for many years and loved playing chess, cutting the grass, and visiting with friends and families. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Surviving are 3 sons, Joe Warner of Danville, Troy Warner (Darlene) of Stanford, and Juan Warner of Danville; a daughter, Ebony Warner (Anthony) of Danville; grandchildren, London Warner, Faith Warner, Logan Nickels, Joel Warner, Kruz Warner, Preston Evans, Lucas Evans, and Joseph Warner; twelve great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bruce Warner.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, granddaughter, Sioubhan Warner, and siblings, Sterling Warner, Hattie Dawson, Faith Smith, Helen Ewing, and Bertha Faulkner.
Funeral services will be 1pm Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Hilldale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10am until service time on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Tony Dawson, Clifford Dawson, Henry Ewing, Stewart Warner, Joel Warner, and Kruz Warner.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Meadows, Bryan Gooch, Ernest Gooch, Mike Meadows, Cory Dawson, and Mike Faulkner.
