Obituary

Wyvonnie Yvonne Springate, 84, of Danville, passed away February 25, 2022 in Stanford, Kentucky. She was born April 9, 1937 in Hustonville, Kentucky to the late Thomas and Ada Grubbs Russell. Wyvonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pearson Springate. 

She was a financial counselor at Ephraim McDowell Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, reading and shopping. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Wyvonnie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  

Surviving are daughters, Stephanie Delk (Craig) of Stanford, Michelle Springate of Hustonville and Yvette Young (Marty) of Danville, and grandchildren, Rachel Delk, Ashley Camden, Amanda Young Shelton (Foster), and Olivia Young. 

Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Coffman officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until 1pm on Wednesday.
